Where is Camping le Castelet located?
Camping le Castelet is in the north of the Ardèche department, in the village of Saint Jean
de Muzols, on the banks of the river “Le Doux”, 4 km from Tournon sur Rhone and 10 kms from
freeway exit n°13.
Is the campsite by the river?
Yes, Camping le Castelet is located on the banks of the Doux, with direct access to the river. The
campsite overlooks the river, with the exception of 4 pitches near the river, which are
floodable.
How far is it to the nearest shops?
On the campsite, you’ll find a croissant-viennoiserie shop where you can order bread and croissants from
before 8:00 pm. An Intermarché Hyper is 3km away, as is a gas station. At
Tournon sur Rhone you’ll find a variety of shops and a Saturday morning market.
How easy is it to get around by bike?
A greenway (the Dolce Via for cyclists and pedestrians) links the campsite to Saint Jean de Muzols
then Tournon sur Rhone and Valence for the southbound direction, and Saint Jean de Muzols then
Sarras/Saint Vallier for the northbound direction. The greenway starts 250m from

How to book?
You can book online, indicating the dates of your stay and the
accommodation model.
You can also contact us by e-mail (courrier@camping-lecastelet.com) to check availability. A contract will be sent to you by e-mail. As soon as we have received your
file, we will send you a definitive booking confirmation.
We do not accept bookings by telephone.
Can I take out cancellation insurance?
Cancellation insurance is optional. It can be taken out at the time of booking.
It guarantees reimbursement for the subscriber and the people booked for the holiday, in
, in the event of cancellation due to serious illness, serious accident, death or redundancy (see
General terms and conditions of cancellation insurance).
When do I have to pay the balance of my stay?
The balance of your stay must be paid 30 days before your arrival for all
rental bookings and on the day of your arrival for camping pitches.
What methods of payment are accepted?
We accept French bank cheques, credit cards, cash and
vacances cheques for payment at the campsite. For payment by vacation vouchers, they must
absolutely be in your name. If not, they will be refused. For the bar, we accept
bank cards and cash.
Before your stay, you can also pay the deposit and balance by bank transfer.
Can I choose a pitch number when booking?
You can inform us of your wishes at the time of booking, and we will do our
best to allocate you a pitch that matches your preferences.
What electrical outlets and extension cords should you bring?
The electrical outlets group together several pitches, so we recommend you bring a
extension cord of around 25 meters. Sockets are European and supply 10 amps.
What time is the campsite quiet?
Our customers are families with young children. For the respect of all,
silence is requested at 10:00 pm.
Are there any animations?
Entertainment takes place every day in high season, with the exception of Saturdays. They are
intended for children only, and end no later than 8:30-8:45 pm, so that the
campsite can quietly settle down by 10:00 pm.
Camping and children
Please ensure that children are not left unsupervised in the
sanitary buildings, and that they do not play with the water.
Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are allowed on pitches and in the campsite, but must be registered at
reception and kept on a lead or their owners will be expelled.
Dogs are not allowed in mobile homes.
The campsite has two Canidouche.
What time does the campsite gate open?
The campsite gate is open from 7.00 am to 10.00 pm.
What are the arrival and departure times?

Your departure: from 7:00 a.m. and before 11:00 a.m.
MOBIL-HOMES

Are barbecues allowed?
Wood and charcoal barbecues are not permitted on pitches. Gas and electric barbecues are authorized at

Is the pool heated?
The entire pool area is ready for use as soon as the campsite opens. However, the
pool is heated from May 15 onwards (please note that the water temperature depends on the outside temperature
). The water playground and paddling pool are not heated. The
pool is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Are visitors allowed?
Visitors are admitted to the campsite under the responsibility of the campers receiving them. Visitors
must pay a fee (see current tariff). They must report to
before entering the campsite, and their vehicles must remain in the outside parking lot.
Visitors do not have access to the aquatic area.
What is the accommodation capacity?
Mobile homes (depending on category) and pitches can accommodate from one to 6
people maximum (including children and babies). For all accommodations and pitches, only one
vehicle is allowed inside the campsite.
