Dive into the historyof stills
Discover the daily life of the distillers
An old French tradition that’s on the verge of extinction, bouilleurs de cru (distillers) were once a fixture of the French countryside.
The Musée de l’Alambic, in Saint Désirat, looks back on their lives and work through a 1400 m² exhibition space featuring a number of copper stills from the 4 corners of France.
Thirty paintings recreate the daily life of distillers through the ages and regions of France.
